Box Finder: Home Inventory App — Support
Add your first box
Tap the add button, enter the label written on your physical box, and save. Add photos, a contents note, a place and a shelf detail to make the box easier to find. Search saved text or filter by place. You can replay the adding guide from Settings.
Five free boxes and lifetime Pro
The free version supports up to five boxes, including photos, places, search and archive export. One lifetime Pro purchase unlocks unlimited boxes; there is no subscription. Apple shows the price in your local currency before payment.
Restore Pro
Open the Pro screen from Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. This restores purchase access, not your catalogue.
iCloud synchronization and recovery
Open Settings in the app to check the active catalogue, errors and the latest successful send and download. Synchronization runs automatically when iCloud is available. There is no fixed interval, and background operation or poor connectivity can delay it. Offline changes remain local until they can be sent.
On a new installation, sign in to the same iCloud Apple Account, enable iCloud for the app in device Settings, connect to the internet and open the app. Previously synchronized records and photos can download from that account’s private catalogue. If a local catalogue already contains records, the app asks how to handle the account catalogue. Keep an exported archive before reinstalling or changing accounts. Unsynchronized local changes cannot be recovered from iCloud.
Export and import an archive
In Settings, export an archive and save it outside the app, for example in Files. The archive contains boxes, places and photos. Import previews the archive, then adds records alongside existing entries; matching labels get a distinguishing suffix. Keep your archive private and retain it until you have checked recovery.
If synchronization reports an error
Check internet access, iCloud storage and Apple Account availability. Open the app’s Settings and retry. If you need help, email zausaevdmitrii@gmail.com with your iOS version and the error text. Do not include personal photos, catalogue archives, passwords or payment details.
